Pain Control
More and more people today are refusing medical drugs as a way of dealing with pain. There are millions of people in the UK alone that have to deal with daily suffering and discomfort.
Going back in time, one of the oldest uses of hypnosis was for pain control. In my own practice I teach people with chronic painful conditions how to use their mind to control pain through self-hypnosis. This simple technique can easily be incorporated into your life with a little patience and practice and, after a relatively short period of time, can produce outstanding results.
Pain is your body’s way of telling you there is a problem. If we didn’t feel pain we could cause a lot of damage to ourselves. It’s a sign for us to rest and, in some cases, seek medical attention.
When we know the cause of the pain, and it has been checked out, we can either control it with medication or put up with it. But there is another way: self-hypnosis.
Pain can be reduced and even eliminated by using self-hypnosis. By focusing your mind inward you can relax your mind and body. The techniques can be mastered over a period of 4 to 6 weeks and, with a little practice, you can enjoy a pain free life.
"I came to Marcus D'Silva with the need to find some pain control as I take no medical pain killers. I am delighted with the result, so far I have tackled bouts of pain successfully every time. Marcus managed to help me go very deep within, into a hypnotic state, when no other hypnotherapists I had previously consulted had failed to do so."
